'Compass Rose' is the new folk-inspired single from prolific Ohio singer-songwriter/guitarist, Zack Fletcher. It follows 'The Traveler' and 'No Moon' as the third in a new collection called Ohio Reveries; songs inspired by his home and the places it has taken him. Each of the five new songs are being released as singles over the latter half of 2021 with the full collection and alternate versions to follow.

'Compass Rose' is the next in the collection and is the most musically uplifting so far. He's had the guitar elements for this song for many years, and was finally able to finish it with inspiration from his wife. Lyrically, it describes bouts of feeling lost and overwhelmed in life... an existential uncertainty. But the song resolves with a realization his wife has given him: it's okay to not see the path clearly... all you need is a direction. She continues to inspire him, ground him, and act as his compass rose.
